3 Simple Ways to Refresh Those Curls
Ain't nobody (always) got time for a full wash day when you are trying to restyle, reshape or refresh your curls.
But don't worry, we got you and your curls covered like a satin scarf on a windy day. Here are 3 quick ways to refresh without doing a whole wash day routine.
As with a lot of this curl life you need to experiment to see what works for you.
Creme De La Curl Creme
Probably our favourite go-to refresh as it suits wavies, curlies, coilies, fine and coarse haired kings and queens.
Add a teaspoon of curl creme to a 250ml spray bottle of boiled, cooled water. Shake it up, spray onto your hair until wet. Squish to condish, leave to air dry or diffuse and as always NO TOUCHING until 100% dry, and then scrunch out the crunch when it forms a slight cast.
The One And Only Creamy Conditioner
This one will definitely work for coarse, curly and coily haired people. Also great if you are battling with dry hair. Again add a teaspoon of conditioner to a 250ml spray bottle of boiled, cooled water. Shake it up and spray until wet . As always squish to condish, leave to air dry or diffuse and - our golden rule to eliminate frizz - NO TOUCHING until 100% dry, and then get rid of the cast by scrunching out that crunch.
Hold Me Baby Curly Hair Gel
This one is the easiest of the lot. You've applied the gel on day 1 and it worked its Hold Me Baby magic. On day 2 dampen your hair with water from a spray bottle, run your hands over your hair from roots to tip. If you have a lot of frizz you can add some more gel to your hands and run over your hair again. Use the squish to condish technique and leave to air dry or diffuse. Oh, and obviously no touching until 100% dry and then you can scrunch out the crunch.
No frizz. No fuss. That's us.
Why cooled boiled water and not ordinary tap water?
